Many netizens have complained about the appearance of online gambling advertisements on their timelines. Because the ad appears from an account that user X doesn’t even follow.
The complaint also reached the Cyber Crime Bareskrim Polri. A user reported an online gambling advertisement featuring Nikita Mirzani, and in the upload marked or tagged the accounts of President Joko Widodo (Jokowi) and National Police Chief Listyo Sigit.
Bareskrim, via the @CCICPolri account, answered the complaint. The police promised to carry out an investigation into the reported case.
